Yoga works best when it is customised to your own unique needs and practiced "little and often".

Group classes are great, but they may not always meet your unique needs, and there is a limit to the amount of personal support you can get in a group class.

By working 121 I'll be able to identify areas of your body you need to strengthen and tone; release and stretch; rest and heal. The yoga can also be used to support and stabilise mental and emotional health, including anxiety, depression, general stress levels, insomnia and any major life challenges you are facing.

This style of yoga stems from "Viniyoga" a one-to-one personalised, therapeutic hatha yoga practice. I'm currently training in Yoga Therapy with Nikola Ellis of Adore Yoga in Sydney and Nikola is a student of Desikachar who developed the practice of Viniyoga with his father Krishnamacharya, who is considered the Father of modern yoga.

In our first 121 session, I will design a yoga practice for you that responses to your specific needs and goals to improve your health and wellbeing. We'll work with body + mind + breath to restore a natural state of balance, guided by the goals we collaboratively agree upon.

A one-to-one yoga practice can address a large range of conditions from aches and pains; to losing weight; stress and anxiety; the physical and emotional effects of cancer and cancer treatments; asthma; and life transitions such as relocations and relationship changes. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy or traditional medical treatment (in the case of serious illness) however, it can work very well alongside traditional medical treatments to empower you on your healing journey.

I will create therapeutic yoga practice, just for you, that give you the tools to begin taking your yoga off the mat and in to your life, where you can be empowered to take control of your wellbeing in a very practical, and holistic way.


Our first session together will be for 75 minutes. You will fill out a comprehensive health record which we will then discuss along with your goals for a yoga practice. I will guide you through a supported one-to-one yoga practice and at the end will give you a 5-10 minute home practice to work on until we see each other next. At the next session we review your progress and the process continues to evolve after each session according to your needs for as long we we continue to work together.

You will get the most out of a one-to-one yoga experience if you are prepared to invest some time and money in your health/ injury/ condition. This kind of yoga is designed to help you to better understand the needs of your body,  which may very well mean modifying what you do in group classes, so that you can be empowered to care for yourself in a way that supports your health.

$150 = One off Private Yoga Class, 60 minutes. Great if you are a beginner and want a one on one session to get clear on basic alignment, breathing and terms, or if you are coming back to practice after an injury or surgery, or if you are an experienced yoga student wanting some tips to support you to go deeper in your practice.

$600 =  6 Classes 6 x 60 minute classes scheduled within a 3 month period (fortnightly)

$1200 = 12 classes +  3 pack of Meditations + video: 12 Yoga Classes scheduled within a 3 month period (weekly) + 3 Guided Meditations; these could be breathing practices, meditations, yoga nidra or guided relaxation. The video will be 20-30 minutes for you to practice with while at home or traveling.
