Launched during the SIX AUS Changemakers Festival November 2013 and Crowdfunded on StartSomeGood.com, Hub Yoga (originally called Yoga for Change) is a series yoga classes focused on personal change and transformation.
Gandhi famously said, “if we could change ourselves, the tendencies of the world would change also. As man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him… We need not wait to see what others do”
This hatha vinyasa yoga series connects you with the change you wish to see in the world, and helps you bring that in to your own life. Each class includes yoga in the hatha vinyasa style, mindfulness practice to help quiet the over activity of the mind, breathing techniques to energise, calm or balance and a final relaxation.

First Wednesday of every month Hub Yoga will be a 'Practice for Freedom', Class theme will be on liberation and I'll be donating 100% of class fees to Project Futures, an Australian non profit organisation that combats human trafficking and sexual exploitation globally. Entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives need self-care practices more than ever; work smarter, find balance and create space to let your genius rise!
The practice of yoga and mindfulness places you as an active participant in your health. We will discuss and try out some simple techniques to help you stay present and calm amidst deadlines and pressures of life. When we can find an inner stillness we can open to our creativity and find “the flow” we can identify areas where we need to make change and be supported in that process, moving towards being our best self.

Lead by Hub Yoga Teacher—Kate Clugston there will be a 15min talk followed discussion and you will learn some simple exercises you can take right back to your desk!
